The Church of the End Times Harvest

Welcome to our Ministry

Welcome to the Church of the End Times Harvest. This is a non-denominational online ministry which covers a range of biblical topics through various forms of media. We place an emphasis on biblical prophecies and especially of those relating to the period of the end times. We believe that we are living in the last days and that the Second Coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. As such, a large part of our ministry involves connecting events happening in the world today to end times prophecy.

Our ministry places special emphasis on helping people develop and understand the biblical worldview; to see the world through the lens of the Bible. It is a core part of our biblical worldview to acknowledge that we live in a fallen world that only vaguely resembles the world which God had originally planned for mankind. We also acknowledge God’s plan to restore the world to its former Edenic beauty, which shall take place following the Second Coming of Christ.

Our Fallen World

Throughout Scripture, we learn that Satan is the god of the fallen world in which we live and that his fallen angels rule over the nations as lesser gods (as stated in Deuteronomy 32:8). Psalm 82 alludes to the fact that so much of the wickedness, corruption, and evil we see in the world is the result of the fallen angels’ unjust rulership over the world. In his epistle to the Ephesians, Paul wrote about these lesser gods, the fallen angels, who rule over this world from high places:

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:12
The Fall of the Rebel Angels (1660) by Luca Giordano

In Revelation 12:7-9, it is prophesied that Satan and the fallen angels will be defeated by the archangel Michael and his army of angels. The fallen angels will lose their heavenly seats and therefore will no longer rule over the nations. Ultimately, Satan and the fallen angels shall be destroyed for their transgressions; destroyed for their unjust rulership over the world. Then, God will re-inherit the nations and He will establish His kingdom upon the earth.

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.

Psalm 82:6-8

Our Hope for the Future

The Triumph Of Christianity Over Paganism (1899) by Gustave Doré

Our hope for the future lies in Jesus Christ, who will return to the earth and will put an end to the wickedness that exists in our world. In fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, Jesus shall inherit the nations and shall rule over them. One instance of this prophecy can be found in Psalm 2, a Messianic psalm written about 1,000 years before the birth of Christ:

I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Psalm 2:7-9

The fulfillment of such Old Testament prophecies occurs during the prophetic events detailed in the book of Revelation.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Revelation 11:15

The fulfillment of the Messianic prophecy of Psalm 2 occurs during the Second Coming of Christ:

And out of his [Jesus’] mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Revelation 19:15

In fulfillment of the prophecies described within the book of Revelation, Jesus shall establish His kingdom upon the earth: the city known as the New Jerusalem; the restored Garden of Eden; paradise on earth. All of God’s people (including all of those who have died) shall be given immortal bodies and will live as citizens of the New Jerusalem under the reign of King Jesus, the Messiah. In the New Jerusalem, there shall be no death, no sorrow, and no pain. All things shall be restored to God’s original plan for humanity; the plan He established with the Garden of Eden; all of the ill effects of the Fall shall be reversed and man shall live in peace and harmony. In the New Jerusalem, God Himself will dwell among His people, His children finally being reconciled back unto Him.

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it [New Jerusalem]; and his servants shall serve him: and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
